Samantha is a quiet and loving small beagle (20 Lbs). A middle-aged dog, she is past her crazy stage, but has years to go until she is a senior. Samanthas history is unknown. She was rescued from a high kill shelter in the United States. Her foster believes that Samantha may have been used as a breeding dog, due to her excellent temperament and intelligence. It is obvious that Sammy has not lived a life of luxury. Cuddling on the couch, she looks at you with the most grateful eyesas if she can hardly believe how lucky she is. She sometimes surprises herself with her tail wagging, and will turn around to find out what all the banging is about! Although timid at first, Sammy will win you over in minutes with her sweet and gentle disposition. She is good with other dogs, like any mother she lets them know when shes had enough, and she is good with children.
Please note that the animals in our program are available for adoption only to individuals located in the Region of Durham area; however we are always happy to refer you to a rescue or shelter in your area. Thank you for your understanding.
